Afternoon in the Square will be packed with activity including a book fair by Days Books, book launches, music, writing and art at the Poet-Tree with Celeste St. Hill, giant chess, word games, and face painting. “Words Need Love II,” the Story Boat, will feature open mic, chain readings, and a special appearance by noted storyteller Pearl Eintou Springer, while the Fair's first ever Lit-Con will see storybook costumes on the Lit Carpet!
