Coordinator, Bim LitFest Children's Fair

Linda is a Barbadian poet, essayist, editor, and storyteller.

The former journalist is co-founder of ArtsEtc, a publishing house and cultural forum in Barbados (www.artsetcbarbados.com), and co-editor with Robert Edison Sandiford of Shouts from the Outfield: The ArtsEtc Cricket Anthology.

Linda is the 2005 recipient of the Frank Collymore Literary Endowment Award and Prime Minister’s Award for the poetry collection Cutting Road Blues: A Narrative. Her writing appears in journals and anthologies including MokoPoui, The Caribbean Writer, great weather for MEDIA, Bim: Arts for the 21st Century, and Give the Ball to the Poet. 

She has represented Barbados in the Literary Arts at CARIFESTA XI.

Founder of the literacy programmes The Summer Storyteller and Read2Me, Linda is a creative writing tutor in and out of schools. She is also a founding member of Writers Ink, and is busy coordinating her third Bim LitFest Children's Fair.
